HOW LONG WILL MY ALTERATION TAKE TO BE COMPLETED?
We normally like to start your wedding dress alterations 6-8 weeks before your wedding date and they can be completed in as little as two weeks.
CAN ALTERATIONS BE COMPLETED IN A TIGHT TIME FRAME?
We can offer alterations that can be completed in one day and could take three days depending on the alterations needed and the complexity of the dress design.
WHO CAN I BRING TO MY FITTINGS?
You wouldn't necessarily need to bring anyone with you, but you may want to bring the one person with you which you most appreciate their opinion and want to share the whole experience with,
otherwise, there is no need to have anyone with you until the last fitting where you can show off your perfectly fitted wedding dress.
Sometimes bringing too many people can make the experience more stressful.
WHAT IF I AM TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING DATE?
First, it is important you let us know of this so we can accommodate you. We recommend you aim to be at your goal weight 6 weeks before your wedding date and we would accommodate you as best as possible to book your alterations as close to your wedding date as possible which would be around 4 weeks before your wedding date.
HOW MANY FITTING WOULD I NEED?
We try and have your dress ready to take home at your second fitting. Rarely a third fitting is needed.
HOW LONG DOES EACH FITTING TAKE?
We allow for 1 hour but most fittings only take 30 minutes to complete.
WHAT IF MY WEIGHT FLUCTUATES DRAMATICALY MONTH TO MONTH?
If you are someone who has dramatic weight fluctuation, this is normally related to 'time of the month'. If this is you we normally like to book you in around 28 days before your wedding day or the number of days of your cycle. This ensures you will be at the same weight as you would be on your wedding day.
CAN ELE BRIDAL MAKE CUSTOM WEDDING DRESSES?
Yes, we can make custom wedding dresses. Please send us an email with pictures of the dress you'd like to have made and we will respond with a quote.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HAVE A CUSTOM WEDDING DRESS MADE?
We know that planning a wedding can be a long process so we strive to keep timeframes short. We can make a wedding dress in as little as 3 months, and depending on the style of wedding dress you'd like to have made, we can have a dress made in a shorter time frame.
HOW LONG DOES A WEDDING DRESS TAKE TO GET DRY-CLEANED?
We can have a wedding dress cleaned within a one-week period but on average, it can take 2-3 weeks.
WHAT IF I NEED A THIRD WEDDING DRESS FITTING?
Your third fitting will be booked at your second fitting if it is needed. It is normally booked within a week of your second fitting.
CAN I FIT IN OTHER SERVICES ON THE SAME DAY AS MY WEDDING DRESS FITTING?
Yes! We try to make planning your wedding as stress-free and easy as possible. You can have your cake tasting at your first fitting and your mini succulent favours to be picked up at your second wedding dress fitting.
